Development and performance of flexible temperature-sensing fabric

In this study, a textile-based flexible temperature-sensing fabric is designed. Organization of the stitching double weaves arrangement, and continuous temperature-sensitive Pt fiber embedded into woven through common weaving technology. The design double-layer structure forms relatively stable protection for fibers, which greatly improves durability fabric. Through experimental tests that simulate practical applications at 20-50 °C, exhibits good temperature sensing performance, its coefficient resistance higher than 0.00213 °C-1, resistance-temperature relationship fitting linear greater 98%, it has hysteresis only 3.65%. When subjected to external force pressure tension, area presents resistance, when affected by bending, electrical signal an obvious negative correlation with bending angle. Under different ambient temperatures, remains stable, convenient in various parts clothing realizes daily monitoring human body temperature.
